James Edward Arena, Jr, 26, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 16, 2022.

James was the beloved son of Eileen Connolly (David Fusco) and (late) James E. Arena, Sr; father of Ava Grace Morrow; brother of Jennifer and Lisa Arena. He is also survived by his aunt Mary Gaskin (Craig), uncles Jim and John Connolly along with many Arena Family members, and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Kathleen Fischer, 80, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Kathleen was the beloved mother of Kathleen Johnston (Daniel), Eileen Connor (Michael), Helene Duphorn (Joseph); caring grandmother of Elizabeth and Thomas Barbetta; Gillian and Michael Connor; Kelly, Ryan, and Matthew Duphorn. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas R. and Helen Foy; sister Sr. Regina Foy I.H.M.; survived by her siblings Rita Muller (late Robert), Richard Foy (Jane), Patricia Corbett (Joseph), and John Foy. Aunt Kate will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

David K Robertson age 32 tragically on May 12th.

David was the loving son of Shawn Robertson and Mayola Tapia. He was the Loving Father of David Robertson, Jr. Devoted brother of Shawn Robertson and Grandson of Dolores Robertson. David is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States and Mexico. David will be dearly missed by his girlfriend, Joy Wright and her daughter Ayah.

Jessica Lynn Joniec (nee Andrilli), 39, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 9, 2022.

Jessica is survived by her parents Louise (nee Mucerino) and Ed Andrilli; her children Alexia and Zachery Joniec and extended family members, friends, and neighbors.

Services for Jessica will be held privately by her family.

Stephen M. McHale age 36 passed away on May 10, 2022.

Preceded in death by his mother Carol Ann McHale (Jacobs). Survived by the love of his life - son, Connor McHale, father Francis McHale Jr, siblings; Denise Madej (McHale), Christina McHale, Jennifer Miller (McHale), Maureen McHale, Frances McHale, Francis McHale III, Ann Marie Gamboa (McHale) and 19 nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.

Stephen was the 7th of 8 siblings, born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. He attended and graduated from Northeast Highschool in 2003.

Sister Mary Ann Lieber of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity, native of Oklahoma City, OK. died on May 8, 2022.

Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will celebrated at Blessed Trinity Mother House Chapel at a later date.

Philip A. Wilson, Sr., 60, longtime resident of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly at home, in Jonestown on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Philip was the beloved husband of Karen Wilson (nee Kessler), for 41 years. He was the loving father of Phil A. Wilson, Jr. (Christina), Joseph Wilson (Nicole Swick), and Melissa Ross (Adam); caring grandfather of Caleb, Sean, and Jacob Wilson; Joey and A.J. Wilson; and Job, Deondre, Lillyan, Arianna, and Jaxen Ross. Phil also leaves behind his beloved Puppy Dogs Max and Chance, along with many friends and neighbors who will all miss him dearly.

Dolores E. Hayes(nee Laege), on April 27,2022, passed away at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Richard J. Hayes, they were
married for 66 years. Originally from Mayfair.

Devoted mother of Rick (Debbi), Vickie (Walt) Loteckie, Bob
(Dawn) and Tom (Paula). Loving grandmother of Walter R. Loteckie, Caitlyn Hayes,Derek Loteckie,
Brittany Hayes, Richie Hayes, Madison Hayes, Lindsay Hayes, Bobby Hayes and also survived by 2 great grandsons Gabriel and Castiel.

Veronica Johnston age 96 of Mayfair. Passed on April 27th, 2022.

Loving wife of the late Robert M. Johnston. Devoted mother of Veronica and the late Robert M. Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Veronica's funeral mass Tuesday May 3,2022 at St. Bernard Catholic Church 10:00 AM where a viewing will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

Francis J. McGrogan, Sr. “Frank,” 81 of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2022.

Frank was a proud Irishman and Philadelphian. Frank worked as a wood carver and was active in his community before retiring. He was a prominent member of the neighborhood watch for many years. He enjoyed bowling, Elvis Presley records, sports, and old Westerns. Although he often wore Eagles gear, Frank, unfortunately, was a Patriots fan. Frank’s true passion was spending time with family and friends. He was a welcomed fixture at every family gathering. In their prime, Frank and his wife Theresa would often host the best Christmas and Halloween parties. Frank was loving, kind, generous and always willing to lend a helping hand.
