Walter Thomas Knoll, 61, longtime resident of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Sunday November 7, 2021.

Walter worked as a Painting Foreman for over 30 years up until his recent retirement. Walter held a strong faith in God, and could regularly be found singing gospel music. He loved spending time in Brigantine, New Jersey at his family condo, and was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Walt was loved by many and was always there to help others in need.

Walter T. Knoll was predeceased by his parents Mary (nee Scache) and Walter Knoll; and his beloved son James Knoll. Walter was the loving husband of Joyce Knoll (nee Lennon) for 31 years; caring brother of Chris Wilson (Tony) and Rosemary Dash. Walter also leaves behind his nieces, nephew, extended family members, friends, and his beloved German Shepherd Jesse James.

Relatives and friends are asked to attend a viewing on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at John F. Fluehr & Sons 3301 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149 from 11-12pm. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place starting at 12pm. A Graveside Committal will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 3301 W Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19150 Saturday November 13, 2021 at 9:45AM .
