Edward V. Kelly, Sr. of Philadelphia PA. He served in the U.S. Navy for over 10 years and was a decorated Korean War Veteran. He passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home after a long illness at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Dorothy R. (nee Moritz) Devoted father of Karen Mangold (Larry), Edward Jr., (Peggy) Timothy (Maryann), Mark (Barbara) and Brian (Lori). Loving Pop Pop of Michael, Danny, Matthew, Shane, Bryn, Timothy Jr., Shawn, Bridget, Matt, Carter, Alyssa, Amanda, Brian Jr. and Patrick. Step grandfather of Patti, Joey and Erin; great grandfather of 16; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Gathering Friday, November 8, 2019 9:15 - 10:15 AM at St. Matthew Church (Upper) 3000 Cottman Ave Philadelphia PA 19149 followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery.
