Clarice Patricia Brosius, age 87, a resident of the Academy Gardens of Philadelphia for the past 61 years and formerly of the Juniata Park Neighborhood of Philadelphia, died on April 26, 2023.She was the loving and devoted wife of the late John G. Brosius for 55 years.
Born in Philadelphia, PA Clarice was the daughter of the late Stanley Grochoski and the late Helen R. Remarcz. She graduated from Little Flower High School.
She was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and great-grandmother.
She was a member of St. Jerome’s Church since 1962 and was a member of their prayer group.
She enjoyed drawing, shopping, cooking, baking and decorating.
She is survived by her children and their partners; daughter Patricia A. “Patty” Sklodowski and her husband, Daniel Sklodowski and son Kevin S. Brosius and his partner, Arlene Haywood; four grandchildren Daniel Sklodowski and his wife Lauren Sklodowski, a great-grandchild Mason Sklodowski. Sean Sklodowski, Brooke O’Hare, Nathaniel O’Hare and by her sister, Sabina Marley along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Grochoski and by her sister, Geraldine Stavenger.
Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, John F. Fluehr & Sons, 3301 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023, St. Jerome’s Church, 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.

Craig W. Bickings, Jr On April 13, 2023, with his family by his side, Craig departed from this life at the age of 50.
Craig, the loving husband of Bernice E. Bickings (nee Goodyear), was the devoted father of Craig III, Nigel, Kolby (Hannah Foster), Dimitri, Quentin, Everett, and Natasha. He was the beloved son of the late Craig Sr. and the late Roberta Bickings and the dear brother of Robin Lucas (Scott), Jason, Roy, Bryan, Debby Troutman, Kevin (Audrey), Robert (Kym), and Harold Wesley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Craig was the consummate family man - a devoted husband and father and a beloved uncle and friend. His love for his family was not limited to blood relation but shown out to all those around him. During family vacations, he often could combine his love for his family with his passion for fishing. From sun-up to sun-down, he could be seen on the beach with a rod in his hand, content in the company of his loved ones and the ocean.
John E. “Jack” Tatum, age 71, a resident of Ridly Park, PA died on April 10, 2023. He previously resided in West Chester, PA, Malvern, PA, Norwood, PA and Philadelphia, PA. He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen Tobias.
Born in Darby, PA, Jack was the son of the late Ellis Birch “Buck” Tatum and the late Lillian Collins Tatum. He graduated from Interboro High School.
Jack’s entire 30-year career was with Verizon, formerly Bell Atlantic and Bell of PA. He retired as Claims Investigator. In earlier years, he held the positions of Splicer, Lineman and Supervisor.
He loved riding his Moto Guzzi motorcycles. He was proud to volunteer his time with his favorites: “Guzzios”, “Mona” and “Evie” at The Butterfly Run in Malvern, PA and at other charitable events. He was an avid fan and supporter of the professional Philadelphia sports teams. He attended the Flyers Stanley Cup Celebration in 1974, the Phillies World Series Parade in 2008 and the Eagles Super Bowl Parade in 2018. He loved music, especially Rock n Roll and the Blues.
Jack was gifted with the ability to fix things; especially cars, motorcycles, boats, appliances and anything in his home that needed repair. He enjoyed cooking, food and wine and was a member of the American Wine Society. Additionally, he enjoyed touring Chincoteague Bay.
Grace B. Bucher (neeCianci), lifetime resident of Philadelphia, on April 8, 2023 at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of the late William E. Bucher. Preceded in death by her sister Mary. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Known to many as “Amazing Grace,” Grace was a Proud South Philadelphian & Catholic Daughter of St. Matthews. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, Bill. She prayed the Rosary daily and attended Pennypack Music Festivals religiously. A long time resident of Deer Meadows Retirement Community, Grace enjoyed trips to the shore, black coffee, pound cake and greeting every visitor who came in the front door. If there was one thing that always brought Grace joy, it was to “sell”. She could sell religion to the Pope! Grace was proud to be an American, often doting full red, white and blue attire. She dressed for every occasion and danced a mummers strut whether there was music or not!
John A. Gawronski 87, of Philadelphia and most recently of Lancaster, passed away on Monday , April 3, 2023. He was the eldest son of John J and Catherine Gawronski. He was married to his loving wife Florence (Zach) for 52 years.
John was a 1954 graduate of North Catholic High School in Philadelphia, and later earned a Bachelor degree in Business from La Salle University. John spent his career working in the trucking industry as a sales manager for Consolidated Freight and Transcon Lines.
During his retirement John enjoyed playing golf, feeding the birds, watching baseball, football and his beloved westerns. Dad loved to find new restaurants and enjoyed dining out with his family and friends. He was fond of a good Makers Mark old fashion and a nice bottle of wine.In the last year of his life he liked to pour over recipies and experiment in the kitchen. John also looked forward to vacations at the Jersey shore, sitting outside by the pool and enjoying a cocktail.
Preceding him in death were his wife Florence and his brother Edward J Gawronski.

Rita Morck, 99 years old, of Philadelphia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children on Monday, April 3, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 55 years, Charles W. Morck Jr., her parents Agnes and Charles, brother James, and grandson Steven and his wife Mary Anne.
Rita is survived by her three children and their spouses; Rita Roth (Harry), Charles W. Morck, III, (Paulette) and Mary Morck. She is also survived by 4 loving grandchildren and their spouses; Robin Roth, Tricia Falcone (Vincent), Christy Gayton (Buddy), and Amy Thomas (late Aaron) and her 11 great grandchildren: Riley, Delaney, Connor, Kendall, Jordan, Gavin, Noel, Kyle, Danny, Hunter and Haylie.
Rita’s greatest treasure was her family, who brought her so much joy and happiness throughout her life. She grew up and was very close with her cousin Dolores and her children Lori, Wayne, Joan, Betty Ann and Steven. She loved spending time with her daughter’s Rita and Mary watching tv, going to church and out to dinner on Saturday nights. She spent time with Charlie at family parties and loved spending time on the weekends with her grandchildren and great grandchildren creating cherished memories and continuing the family traditions. She will always be remembered as “Granny” by her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late John and Catherine Dillon. Kathleen was predeceased by her siblings John Dillon, Sister Marion Dillon, James Dillon and Clare McLaughlin. Kathleen will also be sadly missed by her 14 nieces and nephews

Charles "Chuck" Brion on Wednesday, March 29th, peacefully, at the age of 59.
Chuck was the loving husband of Yvette (nee DiGuglielmo Anderson). Chuck was the devoted father of Matthew Brion (Traci), Courtney Brion, Granger Brion, Vivian Moran, Michelle Blood (Joshua), Michael St. Marie (Bridget). He will also be sadly missed by his brother Geoffrey Brion (Brenda), Richard Brion (David), Joseph Brion and Deborah Brion (John). Chuck was the dear grandfather of 13 and also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Chuck will always be remembered for his love of his Philadelphia teams and especially, his Eagles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Chuck's visitation on Monday, April 3rd from 6pm-8pm, followed by his funeral service at 8pm.
