Barbara Anne Walters (Riehl) formerly of Fox Chase, Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at the Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Doylestown after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease at her age of 85.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Walters, Sr. Devoted mother of Joseph Jr., Paul (Gina) and Robert (Sherri). Loving Mom-mom of Paul Jr., Brian, Jessica, Trevor and Darryl. Dear sister of Jack (the late Anne), the late Anna Marie (Bill), Joseph (the late Cathy), the late Harry and Phillip (Johanna), also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

James Anthony Dunleavy born September 15, 1957 to James and Elizabeth Dunleavy went to his heavenly home on May 20,2020.

He will be sadly missed and is survived by wife Tina, children Charlene, Amber and Jim, loving grandchildren, mother Elizabeth, sisters Betty and Peggy (Darrell) and nieces.

Private service and burial. Memorial Mass to be held at later time.

Angelo “Tony” Finocchio of Paul’s Run Retirement Community sadly passed on May 19, 2020 at the age of 88.

Angelo was one of five children born to Bernardo and Michelina Finocchio in South Philadelphia on 11/6/1932.

He resided for part of his childhood at St John’s Orphanage in West Philadelphia where the Catholic nuns educated him. Leaving St John’s at the end of the seventh grade, his formal education stopped temporarily.

A stint in the Naval Reserves bought a GE diploma, and deployment on the submarine Diablo rounded out his love of all things mechanical. The experience would suit him well for a long career as Chief Engineer at many industrial laundry plants in the Philadelphia area.

Later in life, Angelo partnered with a friend and started a business called Reclamizer. It was challenging but successful and carried him into his retirement years.

Rose Jennings (nee Skubisz) of Philadelphia, our most beautiful and loving mother, left us on May 16, 2020 at age 94.

She was at her home and surrounded by her children. She was a beloved wife of the late Gerald F. and devoted mother of Gerald ("Jerry"), Peter and Rosanne. She brought light, comfort and joy to each of us and will be dearly missed each and every day, The youngest of nine children. Rose is also survived by her sister, Sophia, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately by her family at Old St. Joseph's Church on Willings Alley.


Timothy D. Clohessey, passed away on May 11th 2020, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 79.

Timothy is survived by his wife Kathleen (McGill), along with his children, Timothy J, Kathryn (Thomas), Maryann (Jason), Daniel (Colleen). Beloved poppy of Krysten DeCello (CJ), Heather, Joseph, Nicole, Keith, Kaitlyn, Pauly, Alyssa, Aiden, Thomas, Kayla, and Lenna. Also survived by his great-grandchildren Myah, Paisley, Makenna, Maci, Damien, Mia, Colton.

Timothy proudly served as a Marine and as a Philadelphia firefighter. During his retirement, Timothy enjoyed working at SPIN INC. as a cook alongside his favorite girl Kelly Kirk. During his time away from work he enjoyed cooking while singing along to his favorite Elvis songs. He enjoyed watching his favorite Philly sports teams.

Genevieve Spinnraker (nee Bartnowski), passed away after a long illness on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony Spinnraker. Beloved mother of Nancy Girkin (Richard L.), and the late Joan Cobley (Francis). Loving grandmom of Joseph A. Cobley and Richard K. Girkin. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is saddened that her Funeral Mass and Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, will be held privately.
Joan P. Lennon, (nee McCrosson) passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home after a long illness at the age of 85.

Wife of the late James F. Lennon. Beloved mother of Mary Frances Lennon, Timothy Lennon, Paul Lennon, Joyce Knoll (Walter) and the late Michael Lennon. Devoted grandmother of Sara Lennon, Alex Lennon, and the late James Knoll. Also survived by her loving sister Sr. Clare Immaculate I.H.M. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Theodore “Abb” Korolishin, 93, died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes on May 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dolores (Henehan) and his son Ted. He is survived by his son Michael, his daughter-in-law Terry Cullison (David), five grandchildren – Jennifer Scott (Ron), Kieran (Andrea Soo), Michael (Breanna Shirtliff), Kathryn and Ted – his sister Eve Cooper, and nieces and nephews including Maryann Hartman (Jim), Liz Velardi (John) and Steve Cooper (Trilby).

Abb was born in June 1926, and was a lifelong Philadelphian, growing up in the Brewerytown section of the city, and graduating from Dobbins High School. He served in World War II in the Pacific Theater as a member of the U.S. Navy “Seabees.” After the war, Abb became the proprietor of several gas/service stations in Philadelphia, and later of Abb’s Auto Parts on James Street in Tacony, before retiring in 1986.

Abb was an avid gardener (and battler of deer, groundhogs and other wildlife); a great cook known for making homemade pierogies using a recipe and technique passed down from his mother Susanna; a beer enthusiast; and an all-around wonderful father, grandfather, uncle, neighbor and friend. He was well-loved in life, and will be greatly missed by many.
Thomas A. Pardini of Kennett Square on May 3, 2020 at the age of 84.

Beloved husband of Marian D. (nee Dougherty). Devoted father of Maria Pardini and Tom Pardini. Cherished Father in Law of John Esher and Skye Pardini (Tegtmeier). Adored grandfather of Jack and Tommy Esher.

Tom was the youngest of 10 children born to Geno and Bridget “Ethel” (Duffy). His father emigrated from Italy and his mother from Ireland. He is predeceased in death by his brothers, James (Iris), Frank (Catherine), Anthony “Buddy” (Donna) and his sisters, Catherine (Angelo), Marie (Pat), Ann (Eddie), Rosellen (Dan), Margie (Jim). He is survived by his sister Dolores (John), and countless nieces and nephews.

Tom was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys, Class of 1953 and of St. Joseph’s University. He was a long-time employee of the Boeing Corporation.

Tom was a faith filled man who worked hard and enjoyed life. He loved spending time at the Jersey Shore surrounded by his family and friends. He also enjoyed his ponies, a quick “ride” to Atlantic City to roll the dice, and a well made martini, or a cold beer.

Elsa Bivacca (nee Vaserik) of N.E. Philadelphia on May 4, 2020 at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late Abert F. Bivacca. Devoted mother of Stephen J. and Richard J. Bivacca and Carla R. Veltrup (Michael). Loving grandmom of Andrea (Daniel), Nicholas (LaShawna), Brianna and Ashley; great grandmother of Daniel and Julianna. Also survived by her nieces and nephews.
