Traci Lorraine Miller

Traci L. Miller (nee Hauss), 51, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Traci was a loving and caring person, who influenced and touched many people throughout her life. She loved her children immensely and was a passionate advocate for those with special needs. If you knew Traci, you knew about her fondness of elephants.

Traci Miller was the beloved wife of her husband, Jason Miller. Devoted mother to Rylee Crozier, Kieran Crozier, and Chase Miller. She is also survived by her parents James Hauss and Shirley Noble-Sloan; siblings James and Dan Hauss, Bonnie Jean Knoll-Wagner (Ed); niece and nephews Christian Thompson, Erika and Erik Knoll; Godmother to Brittany Borie along with extended family and friends, who will all miss her dearly.

Jennifer Delisca

Jennifer Delisca, 11, passed away suddenly on Thursday April 29, 2021.

Jennifer was the beloved daughter of Nadege (nee Jean Baptiste) and Jean Allen Delisca; granddaughter of Christianie Jean Baptiste. Loving sister of Steven, Alexander, and Anisha Delisca; niece of Yves Mombrun (Carol), Berlande Guillaume, Michelange Myrthil (Pierre). Jennifer also leaves behind many extended family members.

Fernanda Dello Buono

Fernanda Dello Buono 94, passed on April 29, 2021 with her family by her side.

Loving wife of the late Pasquale Dello Buono. Devoted mother Michael Dello Buono (Anna), Rosanna Trainor (Thomas) and Antoinette Baumhauer (Andrew). Loving Nonna to Matthew, Eric, Kristina and Michael.

A viewing for Fernanda will be held on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at St. Dominics Church 8504 Frankford Ave Philadelphia PA 19136 from 8:45AM-9:45AM Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am following the visitation. Interment will take place at Forrest Hills Cemetery.

Sr. Ann Regis Barrett of the Immaculate Heart of Mary M.S.B.T.

Sister Ann Regis Barrett of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity,  native of Scranton, PA, died on April 28, 2021. 

Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  A Memorial Mass will celebrated at 
Blessed Trinity Mother House Chapel.
 

William F. O'Gorman

William F. O’Gorman, 83, passed away on April 24, 2021.

William was the beloved husband of Marie O’Gorman (nee Washburn) for 63 years. He was the loving father of (late) William Jr, (late) Robert, Debora, Patrica, Theresa, and Nicole O’Gorman. Grandfather to Thomas, Karen, Jazmin O’Gorman, Taryn Paolone; Sean Hatch, Jennifer Hatch, Jeremy Vazquez, Jaline Vazquez, Tatiana Vazquez; Tyeonna Gibbons. Great grandfather to Caden, Davina, Cole O'Gorman; Kaylee, Mckensi, Rylee Hatch; Saileana Hatch, Remy, Zane Peterkin; Janessa Redding. William is survived by his brother Don O’Gorman. 

Kenneth J. Burns

Kenneth Joseph Burns, 71, of Philadelphia, PA passed away Saturday April 24, 2021 after a long battle with multiple illnesses.

Born in Philadelphia to Helen and John Burns. After graduating from Frankford Highschool in ‘67, Ken joined the Coast Guard. A self-professed workaholic, after getting out of the service he worked as an industrial electrician in Philadelphia before moving to Bar Slope, PA for several years. Eventually, Ken moved back to Philadelphia to be able to help care for his parents and to follow his father’s path to become an IBEW electrician.

Arthur J. O'Connell

On Saturday April 24, 2021, Arthur John O’Connell, Jr, loving husband, father, Pop Pop, brother, and son passed away at the age of 73.

Arthur was born in Philadelphia on April 30, 1947. He grew up in Langhorne, PA. with his mom June Donnelly O’Connell and father Arthur, Sr. and three younger brothers David, Dennis, and Daniel.

Arthur traveled the country as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry. He loved to golf, playing on many prominent courses.  The high point was golfing in Ireland.  Most of all, his happiest moments were spent with his children and grandchildren.  He was the maker of Pop-Pop Pancakes and the originator of the family “Artie-cue”.

Margaret A. Smith

Margaret A. Smith (nee Higgins), 69, passed away suddenly on Tuesday April 20, 2021.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Kenneth Smith, Sr. for 49 years. Loving mother of Kenneth, Jr. (Lori), Daniel (Shannon), and Julia Monaco (Gary). She was a proud Nan of her 6 grandchildren Emma and Charlotte Smith; Avery and Amelia Smith; Cole and Mason Monaco. Margaret was a caring sister to  (late) Francis Higgins, Jr. (Barbara), Joseph Higgins, Matthew Higgins (Terri), and (late) Bertha Higgins.

Margaret was a kind and selfless soul who was devoted to her faith and family.  Margaret grew up in Kensington in Visitation parish.  At the age of 15 she met her soul mate and future husband Ken.  Margaret graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in 1969 and married Ken three years later.  Their marriage brought them three children and later, six grandchildren with whom they absolutely cherished.  Margaret was the ultimate role model of a wife, mother, and nanny.  She was an angel on earth, a daily church goer, and a volunteer who helped the sick and fed the poor.  She served as a volunteer for organizations such as Pro Life, Aid for Friends, Our Ladies of the Missionary of the Eucharist, and many more local charities. 

Francis J. Slavin, Jr.

Francis J. Slavin Jr., 59, passed away on Wednesday April 21, 2021

Francis was the beloved son of his parents Dorothy (nee McCombes) and Francis, Sr.; loving brother to Patricia Keeley (James) and (late) Eileen M. Thompson (Timothy). He was a proud uncle of Terri Keeley-Fine (Mike), Jen DiLiberto (Nick), Chris Keeley (Chris), Beth McDermott (Kevin), Rose Vanella (Matt); Victoria Thompson; proud great uncle to 11 nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Francis J. Slavin, Jr. on Thursday April 29, 2021 at John F. Fluehr & Sons 3301 Cottman Ave., Phila, PA 19149 from 8:15-9:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Cecilia Church 535 Rhawn Ave., Phila, PA 19111 beginning at 10am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Francis’ name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital:

Olli A. Tervo

Olli A. Tervo, 39, went to be with the Lord suddenly from natural causes on Friday April 9, 2021.

Olli was born in Finland and moved with his family to the US when he was 2 years old. Olli was a dual citizen of both the United States and Finland. He was very proud of his Finnish heritage, and people around him soon knew where his roots were.  Olli was exceptionally close to his friends, who loved him deeply and found him to be loyal and very generous.

Olli loved to travel worldwide and explore new places both geographically and culturally.  His personality allowed him to make new friends immediately no matter where he was.
