Gerard R. Hesson "Jerry" age 72 passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, with his family by his side.
Loving husband of Nancy Hesson (nee Breyer). Devoted father of Lori McCready and Stephen Hesson. Grandfather of John McCready and Gia McCready. Brother of James Hesson (Linda), Robert Hesson (JoAnn), Ann Reeser (Mark), and Frank Hesson (JoAnn). Also survived by niece Tara Witte (Courtney), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jerry's Viewing Wednesday, December 23, 2020, from 3:00 P.M.- 4:00 P.M. at John F. Fluehr & Sons Inc. 3301-15 Cottman Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19149. Interment Private.

Jean Marie (Carey) Sudell, 95, the matriarch of her family, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020, at St. Martha Villa in Downingtown, PA.
Jean was born in East Falls in 1925 to Leo and Sophie (Rieger) Carey. She was followed eight years later by her beloved sister, Mary Jane Geiss, with whom she remained close throughout their entire lives.
When Jean was fourteen, she met the love of her life, William B. Sudell Jr. (Bill), who was only two days older. Although she dated others, she told her children that as soon as she met Bill, she knew he was The One.
Elizabeth Schaefer 'Betty' (nee Silcox) passed away on Wednesday, December. 9, 2020 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Donald A. Schaefer. Loving mother of Dean and Steven Schaefer, Elizabeth Ann (Larry) Wolfe. Loving grandmother of Matthew and Michael Wolfe, Amber (Steve) Denelsbeck, Lauren Wolfe, great grandmother of Kaitlyn Denelsbeck. Loving sister of John C. and Robert A. Silcox. Betty is preceded in death by her parents William and Margaret Silcox, and sisters Margaret Bennett and Ruth Greenwald.
Matthew A. Reluga, age 101, formerly of Fairmount Ave, and Afton Street, Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at Delaware Valley Veterans Home, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 4, 2020.
He was a proud member of the United States Army during WWII, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. He was also the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, Distinguished Unit Award, Bronze Star, Silver Star, American Theatre Service Medal with five bronze stars, and World War II Victory Medal. He recently received notification that he was granted the French Medal of Honor. He was employed at the Philadelphia Mint, Roxborough Glass Company, ITE Circuit Breakers Company, and Wanamakers.
Frances Elaine O’Neill (née Wickham) of West Chester PA (originally from Philadelphia) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2020 at the age of 93.
Frances, better known as “Babe” to her family, was the daughter of Frances (Ball) and Thomas Wickham of Philadelphia and sister of Ruth (Wickham) Cionci (Jerry) and the late Thomas (Larry) Wickham. Frances attended Little Flower High School was married to her high school sweetheart from Roman Catholic High School, the late James O’Neill Sr, who was a Lieutenant with the Philadelphia Police Department. They raised their three children Jim, Maureen and Colleen in Mayfair.
Fran was an elegant lady who took pride in her appearance. She liked to have her hair, nails, and make up just so, and loved shopping for clothes. She always looked neat and trim, despite her sweet tooth for cake and frappes!
