Rita G. Carfagno, (nee LaViola) of Mayfair passed away on Monday January 13, 2020 after a brief illness at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of 56 years to the late James F. Carfagno. Devoted mother of James F. Carfagno Jr., Kenneth M. Carfagno and Lawrence T. Carfagno (Karen). Loving grandmother of Julia A., Katie M., Ethan and Callie Carfagno. Dear sister of the late Joseph LaViola.

Robin Lee Heilman, (nee Myers) passed away on Saturday January 11, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her entire family at the age of 64.

Beloved wife of Dale R. Heilman. Joann M. Paschall (nee Price) passed away on December 23, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

Joan E. Reilly

Joan E. Reilly (nee Schweiss) of Mayfair formerly of St. Helena Parish, on December 26, 2019.

Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Reilly. Devoted mother of John Reilly, Mary Lou Mawson (the late Charles), Jennifer O'Malley (Patrick), David Reilly (Ann), Donna McDevitt (James) and Brian Reilly. Sister of Carol Ann Bloom, Francis Schweiss and the late Elizabeth Green, also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Daniel Vincent Checchia

Daniel Vincent Checchia, 94, formally of Mayfair, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Thornwald Home in Carlisle, PA. He was born February 13, 1925 in Philadelphia, to the late Salvatore and
Mary (Mancini) Checchia.

Dan worked as an electrician throughout his career and was an electrical superintendent when he retired in 1980. He was also an Army Veteran. Dan served with the 818th Tank Destroyer Battalion from the Normandy Beaches through Bastogne and on into the Rhineland. He was proud of this service, and he and his wife Caroline attended the Battalion‘s reunions year after year. He was also a skilled craftsman and woodworker, an avid golfer, and a lifelong Eagles Fan.

Dan was a loving father to his son Daniel Jr (Elizabeth), Mechanicsburg, PA and daughter Denise (Dennis) Orenshaw, and deeply loved by his grandchildren, Steven Orenshaw and Kelly Orenshaw, his cousins and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Caroline (Dell'Arciprete) Checchia and sisters, Anna Trommer and Phyllis Madaline.

A Memorial Service celebrating Daniel’s life will be held on January 5, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM at John F. Fluehr & Sons, Inc. 3301 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19149. Interment of both Daniel and his beloved wife Caroline will be private.
