Mary Hubbard, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020 at her Philadelphia home surrounded by her loving sister and loving nephew and nieces.
She was born on June 18, 1943 in Camden, NJ. She was the second twin daughter of Kennard Norman Hubbard and Cordelia Martin Hubbard. She graduated from Faith Tabernacle School and then attended Camden County Vocational where she took up sewing. After finishing the course, she was employed in Berlin, NJ where she did embroidering. She also worked for Avery Soabar Company in Philadelphia and Marshall’s retail before cleaning at Faith Tabernacle Church.
Mary loved people, chatting with friends, and spending time with family. She always had a joke ready and loved to make children smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kennard N. Hubbard and Cordelia V. Hubbard and three sisters, Rosemary Lennon, her twin Martha, and Cathleen Hubbard. She never married but is survived by a brother Norman Hubbard (late wife Diane), sister Carolyn A. Johnson (late husband Wayne), and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will be laid to rest in a private graveside service.
