Patricia M. Leonhardt, of Philadelphia, the beloved wife of the late Albert O. Leonhardt, passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 87.
Patricia was an “energizer bunny”, she was always ready to get the job done. In her rare moments of leisure, she would enjoy a Law and Order marathon from her husband’s chair.
She was such a perfectionist that she insisted on cutting the lawn by herself, including hand trimming with garden shears.
Although Pat was a very stubborn, strong-willed woman, she was the most generous person you could ever meet. She would give all she had for those that she loved.
Family was of the utmost importance to Patricia. All of her children knew, without a doubt, that they were supported in every decision that they made. She always had a way of making everyone feel that they were her favorite.
Patricia, a devoted mother to Susan (James) Rementer, Albert (Sherry) Leonhardt, Donna Dawson, Kathleen (the late Robert) Murphy and the late Gary (Theresa) Leonhardt. Loving grandmother of James, Jill, Tina, Albert, Christina, Bruce, Sabrina, Matthew, Christopher, Brian and Jason. Patricia is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence and his wife, Mary Ann Brzycki.
Relatives and friends are invited to Patricia’s viewing that will take place Friday, December 1, 2023, from 8:30 to 10:00 am at John F. Fluehr and Sons Funeral Home, 3301 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149. Mass of Christian burial, 10:30 am, at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 8100 Colfax Street, Philadelphia, PA 19136.
