Sharon Morris of Newtonville, NJ passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 61. She is survived by her spouse of 26 years, Faith Bockol and beloved dog Frankie Grace and cat Oreo cookie. Neither of them imagined they would find their life partner on a blind date set up by Frank Talley and Adele Montecalvo.
She is also survived by her brother Jim (Paula) Brophy, sisters Roe Marrero, Gina (Nick) Ferret, and Nichole (Mark) DiTizio. She is predeceased by her mother Rita Morris, father Edward Morris, brothers Joe and Edward Morris, and sister Diana Morris. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews that she was very proud of and loved very much.
Sharon had a large chosen family which included Killian, Helen, Annette, Peggy, Pam, Norm, Tracy, Laz, Terri, and countless others as Sharon did not know any strangers. She could sit down at any bar/restaurant/party and make new friends within minutes. She always enjoyed her Tito’s, a dark local brew, and wine as well as THC.
Over the years Sharon and Faith have provided an amazing home to many dogs and cats, many of whom they rescued and lovingly nursed back to health, even bottle feeding several in their young lives. Two of their beloved pets Cuddles and Scoobydoo who recently crossed over the rainbow bridge are now reunited with Mommy Sharon.
Sharon worked for over 25 years at the Plaza Casino in Atlantic City and made countless friends. She was an avid animal lover, reader, and devoted sports fan, especially the Eagles, Sixers and Villanova Wildcats. She loved painting, gardening and riding her motorcycle. She enjoyed hanging out in her backyard under the pavilion and floating in the pool. She frequented the beach both Brigantine and AC as much as possible with friends and family.
