William E. Park


William E. Park, Jr., of Philadelphia, PA , passed away on February 23, 2025, surrounded by family, at the age of 76.

He was born on 11/22/1948 to the late William E Park, Sr. and the late  Doris (Gannon) Park.
He is predeceased by his sister Sally Park.
William, the beloved husband of 35 years to Eileen B. Park, the devoted father of Tricia Sambrano (Stephen), Pamela Ardell, Sarah Gessner (AJ), and William E. Park III,  Loving grandfather of Alex, Eve, Quin, Vivienne, and Asher. He is also survived by his great granddaughter Lyla, and many nieces and nephews,
Tommy Forever25 (deceased), Holly (Tristan), Devon, Daniel (Danielle), Jackie (Will), Candie (Michael), Lilly, Caslon, Slate, Collin, Wyatt, Elowyn, Griffin, Declan, Alora, Adam and his Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law Michael Brown, Thomas and  Joanne Brown Miller, William Brown, Art Groves and the late Tibby Brown Groves.

William was predeceased by his sister Sally Park.

William graduated from George Washington High School with the class of 1966. He attended Thomas Jefferson University where he earned his Associates Degree In Criminology.

William wore many hats, he served proudly with the United States Marine Corps, had a long career with the Philadelphia Police Department, where he served as a stakeout officer as well as the Police Chaplain. He worked in the Calvary Chapel Bookstore, served as a Home Fellowship Leader and Volunteered with the Red Cross as a Spirtitual Care Liaison. In his own words he was a retired Police Chaplain, Husband, Dad, Follower of Jesus Christ, American Patriot and a Pop-Pop (Bulgogi)

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation 11:00 am Friday, March 7, 2025 followed by his 12:00 pm Memorial Service at the Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia
13500 Philmont Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing at a later date.
