Joanna Lorraine Paraczky (Nee Nanni) Age 71, passed away Thursday, December 16th, 2021.
Loving Mother of Heather and Joshua. Grandmother of the late Justin. Devoted sister of Theresa Davis (the late Harry) and Nicholas Nanni (Lenore). Dear Aunt of Michael, Jason and Christopher Nanni. Also survived by many family and friends. Joanna worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for over 25 years. Patrick E. McLaughlin, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Monday December 13, 2021 at the age of 61 after a brief battle with esophageal cancer.
He was born in Philadelphia to John and Mary McLaughlin on April 9, 1960. A graduate of Father Judge High School, Class of 1978, Patrick went on to work for 35 years as a bricklayer with the BAC Local 1 PA/DE.
Anyone who knew Pat knew how much of a family man he was. He never missed any of his kids’, and eventually grandkids’, games, activities, and life events, and almost always arrived at least 15 minutes early. He also loved cheering on Philadelphia sports teams with his brothers (and friends that were like brothers) at the Columbus Country Club.

Jim passed on December 7th, 2021. Jim was the loving husband to Micky (nee McGrody). Devoted brother of Jack and Lisa (Frank) Hughes. Dear uncle of Frankie, Andrew (Maria) and Shannon (Brendan). Son of the late Leo and Margie Thivierge. Jim is also survived by many cousins and friends. Jim was a long-time resident of Somerton and a retired United States Postal Clerk. Raymond Edward Johnson,63, passed away on December 8, 2021.
Beloved husband of Anne Marie (nee Godfrey), loving father of Gregory T. and Julianne Johnson (Matthew Rosenthal). Brother of Elaine Kraft (Michael) and Myles Johnson. Preceded in death by his parents, Bernard N. and Marilynn (nee Gresley) Johnson, and older sister Norma Isner. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends. Raymond was a proud Philadelphia Police Officer for 23 years, serving the 7th and 8th Districts and retiring out of Northeast Detectives in 2013.

Mary M. Groome, 101, longtime resident of Mayfair, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 28, 2021.
Mary was born on August 24, 1920 to her parents Wilhelmina (nee Merkel) and Ewald Brimmer. Predeceased by her loving husband Harry V. Groome; beloved mother of Mary Lewis (late Matthew); grandmother of Brian Lewis (Sophia), Danielle Lewis (Courtney Chase), Jennifer Lewis-Wenhart (Jeff). Also survived by her great granddaughter Alana; sisters Patricia Capriotti (late Raymond) and Joan McCrossen (late Joseph) along with many nieces and nephews.
Margaret M. Bonaccorsi (nee Killeen) passed away peacefully on December 6, 2021 at age 98, longtime resident of Castor Gardens, beloved wife of the late John R. Bonaccorsi for over 30 years.
Devoted mother of John Bonaccorsi, Stephen (Susan) Bonaccorsi, and Donna (Paul) Yaron. Cherished grandmother of Allison (Sam) Wilton, John (Putra) Bonaccorsi, Nicole Yaron, and Veronica Yaron. Born in Philadelphia, reached adulthood in its Germantown section. Was one of Sarah and Thomas Killeen’s ten children, including Mary McDermott (Jack), her sister, by whom she is survived. Of several first and second cousins with whom she often lived in proximity as they and she were growing up, only one, Mary Dolores “Dolly” Meehan, of Villas NJ, survives her. Dearly loved and will be lovingly remembered by her husband’s two surviving siblings, Mary Herzel (Frank) and Rita Bocher (Bud); two dozen nieces and nephews and their families; and personal and family friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday December 11, 2021 at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 2000 Shelmire Avenue (at Castor), Philadelphia PA 19152 from 9:45am-10:45am. Funeral Mass will follow at 11am; interment to be held privately by the family at a later date.
Dorothy E. McCarey (nee Malloy), 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021.
Dorothy was the beloved mother of (late) Harry McCarey (Joan), Dorothy Stipa (Michael), Joseph M. McCarey, Jr. (Denise), and Colleen McCarey. She was a caring grandmother to Michael (Melissa) and Stephen McCarey; Jen Snopko (Alex), Julie Stipa; Summer Cinkutis; Kristine McCarey. Great grandmother to Peter Snopko.
Shirley N. Davis, 87, lifelong resident of Mayfair, passed away peacefully on Friday November 26, 2021.
Shirley was the beloved wife of (late) Lewis J. Davis for over 40 years; loving mother of Darius L. Graziani, Jr. (Rhonda) and Jesse Graziani (Elizabeth). She is also survived by her grandchildren Michael Graziani (Michelle), Darius J. Graziani (Kristin), and Jennifer Felker (Nick); Jess Graziani (Shanna) and Jared Graziani (Natalie); great grandchildren Luna, Belle and Kaley, Jonathan and Aiden.
Joseph F. Lodise, 96, passed away peacefully at home on Friday November 26, 2021.
Joseph was born to the late Paul and Teresa Lodise and was raised and resided in Philadelphia PA. Joseph was a proud Army Veteran of World War II. He was a generous person and a dedicated hard-working employee, who was a Local 107 Teamster and worked until he was 92 years old. He loved spending his free time with his family and will always be remembered as a jokester. He was on TV but his mom made him get off because he was scratching it. His favorite Italian dish was spaghetti and meatballs with Parmesan cheese. Joe was a diehard Philadelphia Phillies fan, loved watching old cowboy movies, playing a good game of solitaire, and vacationing in Wildwood, NJ.
Loving daughter of the late Oliver and Frances Watts. Dear sister of Michele (Gary) Rooney. Beloved Aunt of Amy (Bill) Ashe and Kevin (Jackie) Rooney and Great Aunt of Aidan, Nathan, Gavin and Nolan.
