No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Kathleen stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Her faith in God and the Blessed Mother gave her strength. George T. Otto

George T. Otto, 73, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 with his family by his side.

George was born on February 16, 1949 and raised in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. He graduated from North Catholic High School and later enlisted in the army, serving his country honorably in the Vietnam War. George was a dedicated family man, first to his loving parents Martin and Pauline and his sister Agnes, with whom he shared a strong bond and lovingly referred to as “Babe” a nickname that has stuck through the years. His family grew from there with George becoming a fiercely proud father of five to Erik, Kristen, Kevin, Megan and Lauren and loving Uncle to Kimberly and Danielle. A close-knit family was important to George and weekend barbecues by the pool were frequent. George provided the jokes and always got at least one laugh, his own. We always told him he was his own best audience. But that didn’t matter, he was never happier than when the family was together.
