Jacqueline D. Zenszer

Jacqueline D. Zenszer (nee McCall), 74, passed away on Sunday June 27, 2021.

Jacqueline was the beloved wife of her husband, Frank Zenszer, for 53 years. Loving mother to her daughters Elizabeth Medina (Israel) and Linda Macrea (Mark); grandmother to (late) Samantha Zenszer; Gabriel and Ryan Macrea. She was predeceased by her mother Violet McCall.

James J. & Marie E. Smart

James J Smart, Sr. and Marie E Smart (nee O’Donnell)

James passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at the age of 93.  Marie passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of 87.  Devoted parents of James J Jr. (Maryanne), William J (Stacey), Maureen E Crosby (James), Rita M. Marinari (Dominic) and Carol A Schwab (Ryan).  Proud grandparents of 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  Brother-in-law and Sister of Dolores Hampson, Catherine Ramirez (Jimie) and William O’Donnell (Betty Anne).  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Married for 63 years and separated only by death for 23 days.

James L. Simpson

James L. Simpson, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2021 with his family by his side.

James was a lifelong resident of Mayfair, member of Saint Bernard Parish, and graduated from North Catholic Highschool. During the Korean War, he served in the United States Navy, and was proud of his time spent on active duty and many years in the Navy reserves.

Meredith Albertson

Meredith Albertson (Nee Chandlee), 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Dock Terrace in Lansdale, PA.

Merrie, a Philadelphia native, was a devoted wife to John F. Albertson, Jr. even after his untimely passing in 1978. She was the loving mother of John F. Albertson, III (Judie); proud grandmother of Martin Regan, Bridget, Nora, and Grace Albertson. In her younger years Merrie was a singer and performer at historic venues such as the Steel Pier and the 500 Club in Atlantic City. She later became a cosmetologist and retired a skilled laborer at National Fiberstock Corporation. In her retirement she tutored students in art and performed in the church choir and the Dock Woods choir.

Patricia A. Heron

Patricia Ann Heron, 82, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, peacefully with her family by her side. Pattie was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Olney and the Burholme section of Philadelphia. As a wife and mother, she lived in Holmesburg and the Millbrook section of Northeast Philadelphia. For the last three years, Pattie resided at Wesley Senior Living in Doylestown, PA.

Mrs. Heron was preceded in death by her loving husband Francis X. Heron, mother Anna Lloyd (Slewicki) and father Robert Lloyd. She leaves behind her daughter Patricia Ann Ott, son-in-law Jonathan Ott, her son Francis Robert, and her grandchildren: Christopher, Micaela, Brianna, Caitlynn, and Zakkery.

Michelle M. Adams

Michelle Marion Adams (nee Brandes) - October 23, 1972 to May 29, 2021 - passed away after a long, valiant battle with colon cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Adams and her sons, Tyler (Magena, his wife) and Jack Adams. She was the daughter of Emil Brandes Sr. (deceased) and Marion Parkinson and her wife, Peg Szczurek. Her parents-in-law are Bruce and Jane Adams. Michelle was a beloved sister to Emil (Skip) and Stacey Brandes, Philip and Christine (nee Adams) Brandes, Jesse White, Stephanie White and Peter Luttrell. Also: sister-in-law to Joseph and Danielle Adams, Kate and Brian Rightley, Mary and Rich Culver. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Michelle had an army of friends who will miss her terribly.

Theodore R. Fluehr

Theodore R. Fluehr, Funeral Director, lifelong resident of Mayfair, passed away in his 87th year on Tuesday May 25, 2021 with his family by his side.

Ted was the beloved husband of Joyce M. Fluehr (nee Ciavatto) for 48 years; loving father of Theresa D. Vogel (Carl), Theodore R. Fluehr, Jr. (Dianne), and (late) Ernest P. Fluehr (Kimberly). He was a devoted grandfather to Austin Vogel; Ryan and Joseph Fluehr; Dominic and Anthony Fluehr. Brother of Sue Ziegler, and the late John F. Fluehr, III, Lawrence F. Fluehr and Richard J. Fluehr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sr. Ellen Kieran of Joy, M.S.B.T.

Sister Ellen Kieran of Joy, Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity,
native of Boston, MA died on May 21, 2021.

Burial will take place at 
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.   A Memorial Mass will
be celebrated at 
Blessed Trinity Mother House Chapel.

Gail Whitworth

Gail Whitworth (nee Stinger), 80, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021

Gail loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she was not with her family you could find her shopping at Homegoods or Homesense, which would always be followed by going to lunch.

Gail was the loving mother to Cindy D’Ulisse (Joseph), Patricia Lorenz (Ken), Thomas Whitworth (Michele), Michael Whitworth (Susanne); proud grandmother of Alyssa and Alec Weisberg; Michael Lorenz (Angie), Tricia Levinson (Nick), Ken Lorenz (Gretchen); Thomas Whitworth, Jr (Kathy), Tim Whitworth (Sara), Michele Kilcoyne (Dan), Patrick Whitworth (Amy), Matt Whitworth (Kellie); Michael Whitworth, Jr. (Brit), and Susan Whitworth. Gail is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and her sister Peggy D’Aulerio (Nick).

Traci Lorraine Miller

Traci L. Miller (nee Hauss), 51, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Traci was a loving and caring person, who influenced and touched many people throughout her life. She loved her children immensely and was a passionate advocate for those with special needs. If you knew Traci, you knew about her fondness of elephants.

Traci Miller was the beloved wife of her husband, Jason Miller. Devoted mother to Rylee Crozier, Kieran Crozier, and Chase Miller. She is also survived by her parents James Hauss and Shirley Noble-Sloan; siblings James and Dan Hauss, Bonnie Jean Knoll-Wagner (Ed); niece and nephews Christian Thompson, Erika and Erik Knoll; Godmother to Brittany Borie along with extended family and friends, who will all miss her dearly.
