Celso Burgos

Celso Burgos on October 23rd, 2022 at the age of 69. Loving husband of Julie Burgos (nee Schmidt).

Devoted father of Amanda and Ramon Burgos (Jessica). Expecting grandfather of Ramon and Jessica's newborn baby. Brother of Ada Matos (Martin), Alberto Burgos, Bernardo Burgos (Elizabeth), Cristina Delgado (Rafi), Virgen Delgado (Andre), Virgen "Coqui" Rosado (Roberto), Geraldo Burgos and predeceased by his four brother's Ramon, Rafael, Luis and Nelson Burgos.

Anyone who knows Celso knows his unique personality and giving nature. He is loved by many and will be truly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to Celso's graveside service on Friday October 28th at 1pm at North Cedar Hills Cemetery.

Sister Rose Baptista Morales of the Blessed Sacrament, MSBT

Sister Rose Baptista Morales, Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity, native of Moca, Puerto Rico died on October 22, 2022.

Wake will take place at Blessed Trinity Motherhouse on Thursday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Motherhouse Chapel on Friday, October 28 at 9:30 AM. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Bruce Walter Adams

Bruce Walter Adams, age 75, an 18-year resident of Villas, NJ and formerly of the Mayfair and Kensington sections of Philadelphia, died on October 21, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Jane Caldwell Adams for 51 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Franklin Crawford Adams and the late Margaret Frank Adams.

Bruce graduated from Jules E. Mastbaum High School in 1965.

He proudly served as Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was the recipient of 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed bowling and computer gaming. Bruce loved playing street hockey and stick ball with his children and the neighbors’ children. He coached baseball with the Holy Terrors and Lansing Youth Organizations.

Theresa E. Jordan

Theresa E. on October 20th, 2022 at the age of 88.

Dear daughter of William Moody and Louise Curtin. Devoted wife of the late Raymond E. Jordan, Sr. Loving mother of Theresa E. Riley (Richard), Elizabeth Ann Kraft (Thomas), Margaret A. Kilgallen (James), Patricia M. Tereskun (John), Robert J. Jordan (Jamie Oliver), and (the late) Raymond (late Anita). Loving nan of Richard,  the late Jennifer, Mark, Christopher, Patrick, Michael, Stephen, John, Jacob and nan to her great grandchildren Abigail, Keara, Allyson, Christian, Gavin, Graham, Patrick and Evelyn. Theresa was also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth King, Frances Christenssen, Charles Moody (Joan) and Edward Moody. Theresa was predeceased by her brother’s, Peter, William, Joseph and her sister, Louise.

Sister Judith Jones of the Holy Family, M.S.B.T.

Sister Judith Jones, Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity, native of Trenton, NJ. Died on October 13, 2022. Wake will take place at Blessed Trinity Motherhouse on Wednesday, October 19th in the evening. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Motherhouse Chapel on Thursday, October 20th at 9:30am. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Daniel Singh

Suddenly on October 13, 2022 at the age of 64. Loving husband of Monica Singh and devoted father of Richard Singh. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Daniel's viewing Tuesday October 18th, 10am at John F. Fluehr and Sons, Inc. Funeral Home 3301 Cottman Ave Phila PA 19149 followed by Daniel's service at 11am. Interment at Magnolia Cemetery 

James D. Haverstick

James D. Haverstick, 61, passed away in his home on October 13, 2022. Growing up in the Mayfair neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, Jim was known by most as “Stick.” He graduated from Father Judge High School in 1979 and Penn State University in 1983. After graduating, Jim began working for the Federal Government in the Department of Defense and later worked at Rastelli’s, impacting all he came across with his big heart. A lifelong avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers as well as Penn State football, Jim enjoyed watching games with friends and family, especially his sons. When he wasn’t supporting his teams, Jim could be found working on his cars and making sure they were in immaculate condition. Everyone knew Jim as someone they could laugh with and someone who showed up when times were tough. He will be greatly missed.

Frank M. Thoma

On October 12th, 2022 at the age of 91.

Son of the late Frank J. and Anna Thoma. Dear husband of the late Marion M. Thoma. Loving father of Robert Thoma, Susan Neary (Kevin) and James Thoma (Denise). Grandpop of Matthew, Emma, Grace and step grandfather of Edward and Danielle Heebner. Also, his late Aunt Barbara Schad.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank's Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 22nd, 10am at Maternity BVM Catholic Church 9220 Old Bustleton Ave Phila PA 19115. There will be a visiation from 9am-10am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Nanette Renee Klewin (Nee Logan)

Suddenly, on October 12th, 2022 at the age of 51.

Nanette was the loving wife of Christopher Klewin and devoted mother of John and Tyler Klewin. Nanette will be sadly missed by her mother, Corinne Logan (the late Bruce Logan) and sister of Bruce Logan Jr. Nanette is also survived by her aunts Renee Boesenhofer, Susette Tressler, Nanette Repas, Patricia Emore, her neice Tatum and many cousins.

Services will be private.

Patrick M. White

Patrick M. White on September 11th, 2022 at the age of 56.

Patrick was the beloved son of Charles T. White and the late Joan L. White. Dear brother of Charles (Susan), Thomas (Lisa), Donna (the late Albert), and Michael. Patrick was also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and his best friend Donny Settle.

Patrick was a proud graduate of Father Judge High School. He was the proud owner and operator of his own business, Data Tech.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patrick's viewing Saturday September 24th from 10-11 AM at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Patrick's mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be make to SPCA 350 E. Erie Ave Philadelphia, PA 19134 Donate  Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (pspca.org)
